Terms of Service

By creating an account or using Gnumo you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Gnumo LLC.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Gnumo. By using the service you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are between 13 and 18 you represent that your parent or guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
2. Account responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at gnumoapp@gmail.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not create accounts using automated means, create accounts for others without their permission, or share your account credentials with others.
3. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or other users' accounts
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service in ways not intended
- Manipulate focus scores, session data, club battle results, or any competitive metric through artificial means
- Harass, bully, or threaten other users through club chat, the feed, or any other feature
- Post content that is illegal, defamatory, obscene, or violates the rights of others
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
- Use the service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the service or its servers
- Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.
4. User content
Gnumo allows you to post content including study session posts, feed posts, club chat messages, blueprints, and profile information (collectively "User Content").
Your ownership: You retain ownership of User Content you create. We do not claim ownership of your content.
Licence you grant us: By posting User Content you grant Gnumo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, sublicensable licence to use, display, reproduce, distribute, and modify your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service. This includes displaying your posts to other users, using anonymised content for training and improving AI features, and featuring content in marketing materials with your permission.
Your responsibility: You are solely responsible for the User Content you post. You represent that you own or have the right to post the content and that it does not violate any third party's rights.
Content we can remove: We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these terms, our Community Guidelines, or that we determine in our sole discretion is harmful to the service or its users. We are not obligated to monitor all content but may do so.
5. Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights and expect our users to do the same.
Reporting copyright infringement: If you believe content on Gnumo infringes your copyright, send a DMCA takedown notice to our designated agent:

Your notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing and its location on Gnumo
- Your contact information (address, phone number, email)
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner
- A statement under penalty of perjury that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on their behalf
Counter-notices: If your content was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe it was wrongly removed, you may send a counter-notice to gnumoapp@gmail.com. Counter-notices must comply with DMCA requirements.
Repeat infringers: We will terminate accounts of users who are determined to be repeat copyright infringers.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Free tier: Gnumo offers a free tier with limited features as described on our pricing page.
Gnumo+ subscription: Gnumo+ is a paid subscription billed monthly or annually. Pricing is displayed at getgnumo.com/#pricing and may change with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
Free trial: New users may receive a free trial period. No credit card is required to start a free trial. At the end of the trial your account automatically reverts to the free tier unless you choose to subscribe.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to Gnumo+ features until the end of the period you paid for. We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
Refunds: We offer refunds within 7 days of your first payment if you have not used the service substantially. After that refunds are at our discretion and not guaranteed except where required by applicable law.
7. Gnumo+ subscription and advertising
Advertising: The free tier of Gnumo displays third party advertisements. By using the free tier you consent to the display of advertisements. Gnumo+ subscribers and users granted beta access are exempt from advertising and will not see third party ads during their subscription or beta period. We reserve the right to modify advertising placement, frequency, and partners at any time. We are not responsible for the content of third party advertisements or the products and services they promote.
8. Virtual currency
Gnumo offers a virtual currency (coins) and pack system (Meteors). Coins are earned through in-app activity and can be spent on packs. Coins and pack rewards have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or transferred between accounts. Virtual items and currency are licensed to you, not sold, and your licence to use them terminates when your account is closed. We reserve the right to modify, adjust, or retire virtual currency and items at any time.
9. Intellectual property
The Gnumo service, including its design, features, code, branding, and content we create, is owned by Gnumo LLC and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the service without our express written permission.
10. Disclaimer
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Your use of the service is at your own risk.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gnumo LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of profits, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us anything.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Gnumo LLC and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your User Content, or your violation of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Wyoming under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in court for intellectual property disputes. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email and in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, with or without notice. You may close your account at any time through settings. Upon termination your right to use the service ends immediately.
